Individuals and Couples
Focus on your art in spectacular surroundings!
Ideal for individual artists including writers, filmmakers, musicians or painters. Feel free to walk and wander through the property with its wild and landscaped spaces. Hike across the Parvati River on the footbridge. Explore the nearby hills and pathways. Relax with other residents around the outdoor fireplace or have an espresso at the café. Bring your journal!
A room with a view.
Comfortable, hotel-style accommodations with attached bath, double bed and desk. Access to numerous library and sitting rooms, in-house café, music studio, widescreen TV viewing room, gym and meditation room. The soothing, inspiring sound of the Parvati River can be heard year-round.

Small Groups and Workshops
Get to work in rooms with a view
Create your songs or music videos, teach screenwriting, have a workshop on generative AI. Our small group rooms are equipped with wide-screen TVs and group tables, perfect for classes or work where a more intimate group is appropriate. Small groups also have access to film projection on a large screen, video editing facilities, and music recording rooms. Your group can also relax in any of our sitting rooms, café, library and outdoor areas.
Bring your journal!
Your group members can relax, meditate, meet, walk and wander the property, hike across the Parvati River, take a quick bus up to Kasol or to Kullu and Manali, dine in the cafe or restaurant. Bring your guitar or journal and be inspired!
Booking Your Group
Small groups can be accommodated for a minimum period of one week and a maximum of four weeks. On-site and nearby acommodations can be reserved for your group members depending on availability. Group leaders will be have accommodations in the main building. Details of fee sharing, meals and accommodation are custom-designed for each group. Large Groups and Classes
Spacious halls with views of the Parvati River valley
Three 1500+ square-foot halls with high ceilings, wood flooring, sound systems. In the main hall there is a stage suitable for presentations or performances, lighting frame for video shooting, and more. Film projection on a large screen, video editing rooms, music recording rooms are available. Your group can also relax in the sitting rooms, cafe, library and outdoor facilities.

Film Pre-Production and Theatre Rehearsal Workshops
Full facilities for film and stage
The Retreat has facilities that will make your intensive workshop or rehearsals into a working holiday. There are numerous large halls with studio lighting, a large, fully equipped Chroma studio, equipped editing and screening rooms, a large theatre hall with stage and stage lighting and green room, many smaller rooms and outdoor areas for rehearsals and readings.

For the director, actors and staff, we have comfortable accommodations, a fully-equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and plenty of space for relaxation and partying.
The dining areas are spacious and the outdoor patio features a fire pit, a wood oven for pizzas and a raised platform for stargazing.
Booking Your Workshop or Rehearsal
We can tailor both accommodations and timing to your needs. On-site and nearby acommodations are available. There are Directors’ suites in the main building. F.A.Q.
What accommodations are available?
For students or group members, we have accommodations in A-frames. These are for two people, with desks, a river-view balcony, and en suite washroom. They are steps away from the main building. We have 10 of these, so can accommodate up to 20 people. We are adding more of these and similar accommodations throughout 2025.
Teachers, group leaders, film or theatre Directors and individuals or couples may stay in the main building’s hotel-like rooms with double beds, en suite washrooms, desks and storage, and views of the Parvati Valley.
In the main building we have two Director’s Suites available. These have extra rooms for staff or children.
Off-site accommodations will be available. There are many comfortable hotels within walking distance.
All this walking is making me hungry. What about food ?
We have a café in the main building and a full restaurant on site. The cafe is exclusive to residents, while the restaurant will be open to the wider community.
Restaurant food choices include both veg and non-veg, mainly Indian with some Western food. We will do some of our own baking for sweets and bread. Indian and packaged snacks will be available at the Café until the wee hours.
Food provided to large and small groups can be part of the package. Send a Booking or Contact form and we’ll work out custom details.
For pizzas and other exotic tourist food, Kasol is a 20-minute bus ride up the hill, with a bus stop right in front of our gate.
What other services are available?
Laundry services will be provided at minimal cost to residents.
If you’re taking a Volvo bus, we have a café right next to the Bhuntar bus stop. Have a coffee or tea while we send a car down to pick you up.
Bookings for group tours to Manali will be available.

Individual and couple residencies are booked similar to a hotel. Large and small groups will be on a fee sharing basis to be arranged depending on group size and services requested.
