The Parvati River

More than just a scenic backdrop, the Parvati River is the spiritual heart of our retreat. Home to a revered Shiva Linga, it’s a place of both artistic and spiritual pilgrimage.

The Property

Located on the road from Bhuntar to Kasol, the land slopes from the road to the Parvati River. While roadbuilding and construction have taken their toll on some of the natural trees and flora, work is under way to restore and enhance the area with extensive landscaping.

Three large studios are available for large classes, performances and exhibitions.

Smaller fully-equipped rooms are available for film shoots, music recording, Chroma video shooting, and video post-production.

Smaller rooms with table seating and large video screens are available for smaller classes.

An in-house Café, including a dining room, is available. In early 2025, a free-standing restaurant will open daily and offer a full menu and weekend performances.

Also available in the main building are libraries, sitting rooms, meditation rooms, individual Residency accommodations, and a gym.

Outdoor facilities include an open-air amphitheatre, a covered sitting area on the banks of the River, a walking bridge to the opposite riverbank and hills, and countless spots for enjoying the inspiring natural surroundings.
